Outreach

Many St. Luke’s parishioners devote their time, thought and resources to serve the needs of the greater community. We are proud of our work and prayerful that we will grow in our outreach efforts. Following are some of our ongoing and recent activities.

Community Outreach:

If anyone would be interested in walking together in Race for the Cure or possibly forming a team from St. Luke’s, please let me know.  The race will take place this year on Saturday, October 16 at 8 am.

If you have any questions about either of these activities, please contact Carmen Quinn at 227-8161 or ccquinn23@yahoo.com. Thanks.

Disaster Response Team

The parish has recently formed a Response Team to be available to help in time of urgent need and disaster.  The Team will help our own members if there is an urgent need as well as responding to victims in other areas throughout the State of Arkansas because of Tornado, flooding, etc.  If you are interested in this wonderful new ministry contact either the office 501-753-4281 or Mr. Ed Seward at 501-753-6883.

Respite Care Center

St. Luke’s is home to the Respite Care Center, an ecumenical outreach of five North Little Rock congregations. The program, centered in the Parish Hall on Thursdays, provides quality care for the elderly while affording their caregivers a few hours of respite.  Please contact Laila Zakrzewski at 501-912-9615
